HIGH FREQUENCY WELDING TECHNOLOGY
High frequency (HF) welding, also known as radio frequency (RF) welding, joins compatible thermoplastic materials through the combined action of pressure and an electromagnetic field. The HF generator operates at the industrial frequency of 27.12 MHz. High-frequency energy acts on the molecules within the material, generating heat directly inside it and allowing the material to soften and subsequently bond under pressure. Once the welding phase is completed, pressure is maintained during cooling, allowing the joint to stabilise and producing precise, uniform, strong and repeatable welds. The main process parameters — pressure, HF power, welding time and cooling time — are adjusted according to the material, its thickness and the specific application.
MATERIALS
HF technology is particularly suitable for PVC, PU, TPU and other thermoplastic materials compatible with the high-frequency welding process. Materials of different thicknesses can be processed, including plain, printed, coated, reinforced or laminated materials.
HF WELDING AND BLANKING MACHINES
